If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021, he or she is eligible to start school here in September 2024. Department of Education Covid-19 guidance for children in school from Friday 1st April 2022.

  • Children who are unwell and have a high temperature should stay at home and avoid contact with other people. They can come back to school, when they no longer have a high temperature, and they are well enough to attend.
  • Children with a positive COVID-19 test result should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days, which is when they are most infectious.
